SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to protection of metals from corrosion in corrosive media, particularly, to inhibition of corrosion of steel in water solution. Composition contains a mixture of at least one hydroxy carboxylic acid salt and at least one oxoacid anion salt, in which at least one hydroxy carboxylic acid salt contains from 40 to 60 wt% of total weight of declared hydroxy carboxylates at least one glucarate salt, from 5 to 15 wt% of total weight of declared hydroxy carboxylates at least one glucarate salt, from 3 to 9 wt% of total weight of declared hydroxy carboxylates at least one 5-keto-gluconate salt, from 5 to 10 wt% of total weight of declared hydroxy carboxylates at least one salt of tartaric acid, from 5 to 10 wt% of the total weight of declared hydroxy carboxylates at least one salt tartaric acid and from 1 to 5 wt% of the total weight of declared hydroxy carboxylates at least one glyconate salt.

EFFECT: technical result is improved environmental friendliness, stability and efficiency of protection against corrosion.
