SUBSTANCE: banknote management system includes: memory unit to store serial numbers of plurality of banknotes in relation to code of administration; acquisition unit capable to obtain code of administration attached to plurality of banknotes, and ID of container attached to container of banknotes, in which plurality of banknotes is placed; and banknotes information management unit, which administers, correlating to each other, administration and container ID codes, obtained by reception unit.
EFFECT: faster processing of large volume of banknotes with specified reliability of data.
