In the method of searching for and analysis of serial numbers, read terminal for processing cash, which reduces time and efforts on recording of serial numbers of false banknotes in a terminal for processing cash. Information processing device (100) is installed between the group of cash processing machines in local area network and an external network, device (100) comprises unit (121) for serial numbers acquisition in local area network obtained when reading paper money via cash processing terminal group (200), controller (122) for storage of serial numbers in storage unit (130); unit (124) obtaining condition associated with serial numbers of false banknotes; and unit (125) of serial number message, which receives from unit (130) data for storing serial numbers satisfying this condition, and informs this data to any cash processing terminal or cash processing terminal installed in local area network, varying from the local area network.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of monitoring and faster recognition of banknotes.
