FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems of mobile communication via secure networks. Invention describes a gateway device and methods implemented in it to prevent unauthorised connection of client devices to the host network of the gateway device. Gateway device does not respond immediately to a separate client message sent to the gateway device. Instead, the gateway device only responds to the preset sequence of client messages, which is known only to the gateway device and authorised client devices. Since the gateway device will not respond to random client messages and the probability of an unauthorised client device correct guessing the preset sequence of client messages is low, the risk of the malicious side successful entering the host network, for example, using methods of scanning ports, can be reduced.
