FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology, and can be used for prediction of safe position of anterior chamber phakic intraocular lens (PURPLE) of the Cachet model. Using optical coherence tomography (OCT) of an anterior segment of eye id determined the diameter of anterior chamber of eye in mm as distance, measured from one angle of anterior chamber (AAC) to the opposite angle along the horizontal meridian, and depth of anterior chamber in millimeters as distance from the corneal endothelial cell to anterior capsule of lens in the center, by means of avtorefractoceratometer is determined the corneal curvature radius in millimeters in weak and intense meridians, by an ultrasonic echo biometry is determined the length of the front-back axe in millimeters, using the formula of Van der Heidje calculated optical power PURPLE and count an index of safe position anterior chamber PURPLE Cachet by the following formula: D = -6.53 * DAC +28.82 * R1-2.35 * OP PURPLE-3.13*FBA-23.17 * R2-3.44*AC +98.61, where D - index of safe position PURPLE; DAC - diameter of the anterior chamber; R1 and R2 - radius of curvature of the keratoderma in weak and intense meridians respectively OP PURPLE - optical power PURPLE; FBA - length of the front-back axis, AC - depth of anterior chamber; and if the values of D lower than 0 enables predicting the safe position of PURPLE.
EFFECT: method allows to predict effectively the safe position of anterior chamber PURPLE cachet model at candidates for correction of myopia of this model of the lens for the purpose to reduce the risk of postoperative complications.
