FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: described is a personal hygiene absorbent product, such as a sanitary pad or a diaper, having a longitudinal axial line and transverse axial line and comprising a pair of opposite, first and second, wings, passing along longitudinal sides of article. Article additionally comprises first and second protective strips attached to sides of article, and when vanes are tucked under article and user's underwear, first and second protective strips extend sideways beyond article and edge of user's underwear to provide additional protection against leakage of body fluids, collected in absorbent personal hygiene article and in it.
EFFECT: leakage protection.
