SUBSTANCE: present invention disclosure relates to absorbent article (1) comprising main portion (2) having liquid-permeable topsheet (3), liquid-impermeable backsheet (4) and absorbent core (5) disposed between said topsheet (3) and said backsheet (4), wherein said main part (2) is located along longitudinal axis (Y1) and transverse axis (X1) extending perpendicular to longitudinal axis (Y1), wherein in said main part (2) there are front part (6), rear part (7) and perineal part (8), wherein said article (1) comprises first wing (9) and second wing (10) extending outwardly from said perineal portion (8) of main portion (2) in opposite directions asymmetrically relative to longitudinal axis (Y1) and substantially along said transverse axes (X1), wherein said wings (9, 10) are provided with fastening means (11, 12) configured to provide attachment of said wings (9, 10) to the article of clothing when they are bent relative to said main part (2) and towards said longitudinal axis (Y1). First wing (9) comprises first attachment means (11) and second wing (10) comprises second attachment means (12), wherein said first and second attachment means (11, 12) are offset from each other in the product longitudinal direction. Present invention disclosure also relates to a method for manufacturing absorbent product (1) of the above type.
