SUBSTANCE: contact lens comprises front and rear surfaces, an optical zone, a peripheral zone surrounding optical zone, and a plurality of recesses on rear surface of contact lens in peripheral zone. Plurality of recesses are arranged at equidistant radial lines without recesses between adjacent lines. Each line includes an equal number of equidistant recesses.
EFFECT: improved movement of contact lenses during blinking or when looking down.
