FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of extracting methane from the methane-air mixture, consisting in compression of the methane-air mixture, dividing it into methane and air and methane extraction. Method is characterized by the fact that after compression the methane-air mixture at pressure of not less than 5 MPa is passed through the tank containing graphene pumice, where methane is adsorbed in pores of graphene pumice, while air is returned to the initial volume, herewith, after termination of adsorption graphene pumice release of methane in methane line is performed by removing the pressure, and the cycle is repeated. Invention also relates to the device.
EFFECT: proposed method allows to efficiently extract methane from gas mixtures due to simplification of process, in particular, reduction of mass transfer and separation pressure, while the device allows to increase efficiency by heat transfer from heated elements to the cooled ones.
