FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding and renewable energy, in particular to offshore wind-driven power plant installations. Power plant includes floating platform and buoy, which is fixed on sea bottom in the place where from below to buoy there is electric cable connected via buoy located rotating electrical facility with floating platform. Floating platform is made in the form of a sailing catamaran with one or several masts. To the body of the catamaran, from the bottom, a hydro-generator installed in the installation is attached, which is made in the form of a screw and an electric generator, which is connected to the electric cable going from the catamaran to the buoy and equipped with a system of floats, which keep it above the water surface.
EFFECT: smaller dimensions of converter of kinetic energy of medium.
