FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a foundry, in particular to production of axisymmetric articles. Apparatus 1 comprises a mould for casting molten metal from sprue cup mounted in cradle 4, engine rotation of cradle 2, 3 shaper mounted to form a predetermined gap relative to inner mould wall. Molten metal is poured into a mould 1 rotating around a vertical axis. By rotating mould, metal is distributed over surface of mould. Distributed metal is compacted by means of shaper 3, installed with clearance corresponding to wall thickness of featured article. Shaper is moved along inner wall of mould simultaneously with rotation of mould.
EFFECT: reducing complexity of manufacturing parts, improving accuracy of products.
