FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used in casting from magnesium alloys of castings close in shape to rotation bodies, with prevailing wall thickness of not less than 4 mm. Gating system comprises gating bowl, riser (1) located inside contour of obtained cast parallel to its vertical axis of symmetry, and branched system of runner gates. Gating system is filled with a mixture of inert and active gases heavier than air. Runner gates system comprises radial collectors (2) connected to filtration chambers configured to supply the alloy to annular collectors (2), and vertical wells (6) configured to feed the alloy from the annular collectors into mold cavity (4) and to feed profits (5). Ring and radial headers are located below the cavity of the mold, which determines the walls of the obtained casting.
EFFECT: providing uniform supply of melt to different parts of casting and creation of conditions for serial hardening of metal in direction of location of profits.
