FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: device is intended for compaction and packing of multiple portions of the product simultaneously and comprises a packets former with multiple product feeding cylinders, a weighing doser divided into sections, each of which doses and unloads a product portion into the corresponding loading funnel guiding the product into a deposition device containing at least two chambers, a gate and a vibrator. Herewith the deposition device is located between the weighing doser and the feeding cylinders. Method of compaction and packaging of multiple portions of the product is implemented in the device comprising multiple packets with multiple product feeding cylinders. Method includes weighing the multiple portions of the product in the weighing doser divided into several sections as per the number of the feeding cylinders, loading the portions of the product in the deposition device, compacting the portions of the product in the deposition device to form compacted portions, their unloading into the feeding cylinders, herewith each portion is unloaded into a separate cylinder and then the portions are packed from the cylinders in packages. Herewith the deposition device is located after the doser and before the feeding cylinder, and the stages of loading and unloading are carried out simultaneously.
