FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for diagnosis of automatic circuit breakers with "blasting" system of arc suppression. For diagnosis of automatic circuit breaker (1) with a "blasting" system of arc suppression operation is started at opening of said circuit breaker (1), as a result of which in working gas of automatic circuit breaker (1) with a "blasting" system of arc suppression a pressure wave is formed. Pressure which is delivered to at least one region of automatic circuit breaker (1) with a "blasting" system of arc suppression in response to operation of opening, is measured depending on time. State of nozzle (11) of automatic circuit breaker (1) with a "blasting" system of arc suppression, burnable during operation on opening during blowing of unlocking arc with working gas, is determined depending on pressure as a function of time.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility of estimating degree of burn-out of nozzles without need for opening of arc-quenching chamber of automatic circuit breaker.
