FIELD: medicine; physics.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and can be used for processing data on polarization in polarization-sensitive optical coherence tomography. Group of inventions is presented by method, device and constant machine-readable carrier. Light is detected by detection sensor. Light is obtained by splitting combined light using polarized beam splitter. Combined light is obtained by combining reflected light from measured sample, irradiated by measuring light and reference light corresponding to measuring light. Obtaining multiple sets of data elements on polarization by production unit obtained from detected light. Converted multiple sets of data elements on polarization vector form view by means of conversion unit, including information on delay and orientation axis. Calculating average values of multiple sets of transformed data elements on polarization by means of unit for calculating average values. Calculated lag and orientation of axes of multiple sets of averaged polarization data elements by means of computing unit. Formed different types of images for polarization-sensitive B-scanning with help of shaping unit. Cause display device to display, at least one of formed images for polarization-sensitive B-scanning with help of control unit.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables reducing occurrence of distortions due to formation of different types of images for polarization-sensitive B-scanning.
