OPTIC TOMOGRAPHIC IMAGE FORMER AND METHOD FOR FORMING IMAGE FOR ABOVE DEVICE Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC A61B3/10

Abstract RU 2533976 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a device and method for forming optic tomographic images. The device comprises a division unit, an adjustment unit, a common diffraction grid, a detection unit and a data collection unit. The division unit is configured to divide a combined beam on the first and second beams having different polarisation directions. The combined beam is generated by combining the reflected beam from an object with a reference beam respective to a measuring beam with the object illuminated by the measuring beam. The adjustment unit is configured to adjust at least one of the polarisation directions of the first and second beams so that the polarisation directions of the first and second beams are aligned. The common diffraction grid is configured to scatter the first and second beams separately in the adjusted polarisation direction. The detection unit is configured to detect the first and second scattered beams separately. The data collection unit is configured to get the tomographic image showing the polarisation object information on the basis of the first and second detected beams. The method consists in dividing the combined beam on the beams with different polarisation directions, aligning the polarisation directions of the first and second beams, dispersing the first and second beams separately in the adjusted polarisation direction, detecting each beam separately and obtaining the tomographic image showing the polarisation object information on the basis of the first and second detected beams.

EFFECT: using the invention provides producing acute polarisation parameters and simplifying the optic system.
