FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coating compositions intended to absorb (and/or reduce the level of reflection) SHF electromagnetic radiation. Radar-absorbent coating composition is a polymer binder based on epoxy resin with a conductive radar-absorbent filler. It is made of two fluid components, one of which is a hardener of epoxy resin, and the other one is a composition containing epoxy resin, hollow sol microspheres, electroconductive absorbing filler - carbon nanotubes, a solvent and a superficially active substance (SAS aka surfactant). Electroconductive radar-absorbent filler used is carbon nanotubes dispersed in a solvent containing a surfactant and processed with ultrasound.
EFFECT: invention provides a radar-absorbent coating composition to form coatings with high coefficient of electromagnetic radiation absorption.
