SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to renewable alternative power engineering, namely to a method and device for electric power generation on a wind-driven power plant. Electric power generation method includes the following stages: electric power is generated by means of an electric generator driven by an air turbine installed in an air line, at operating wind speeds in the turbine air pressure difference is created by evacuating air by a compressor driven by a wind wheel, if there is no wing air pressure difference in the turbine is generated by developing thrust in the air line when hydrogen obtained by electrolysis of water is combusted in the unit connected to the air line, and at low wind speeds air pressure difference is created in the turbine by either developing thrust when combusting hydrogen or by combusting hydrogen and simultaneously pumping air from the air line. Device for electric power generation comprises a power generator, an air turbine connected to it and installed in the air line, a wind wheel connected to a compressor that is intended for pumping air from the air line, an apparatus for producing hydrogen by electrolysis, it is connected to an electric generator by means of a power circuit and also connected to a tank for hydrogen storage, which is in turn connected to the unit for combusting hydrogen, connected to the air line.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at stable and uninterrupted electric power generation and higher reliability of power supply to consumers.
