METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FLAT BOX FRAME OF LED LIGHT FIXTURE FROM COIL METAL AT AUTOMATIC LINE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC F21S4/00 

FIELD: lighting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of manufacturing frames of lighting equipment, namely, to a method for manufacturing flat box frame of led light fixture at automatic line. Technical result is achieved due to method for manufacturing flat box frame of led light fixture from coil metal at automatic line, comprising unwinding the coil on a metal unwinder, straightening the coil metal at the correct mill, obtaining developed views of the flat frame with mounting holes and moulded fasteners of LED circuit boards on a die-stamping machine and guillotine shears, making the developed views of the flat frame volumetric, obtaining rigid box frame by stamping two metal sheets into each other, according to this invention, to make the developed views of the flat frame volumetric, longitudinal edges of the developed views are being simultaneously bent and rolled using the first bending-rolling mill with roller forming tools, produced workpiece is being turned through 90° with the help of the first rotary unit and transverse edges of the developed views are being simultaneously bent and rolled using the second bending-rolling mill with roller forming tools, then transverse sides of the developed views are simultaneously bent using the first bending mill, produced workpiece is turned through 90° using the second rotary unit, then, both longitudinal sides of the developed views of the flat box are bent using the second and third bending mills respectively.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of forming box frame of a LED light fixture (up to 5-6 frames per minute) by reducing the number of transitions; high overall efficiency due to exclusion of powder painting after forming the frame of a LED light fixture.
