SUBSTANCE: method of authenticating an electronic device, which involves: receiving device verification of one or more identification of parameters of the beam, corresponding transmission focused beam and including a pseudorandom code and time mark; receiving device for verifying the first location information indicating the location of the electronic device; determination of the second location information on the basis of one or more identification beam parameters indicating the location of the centre of projection of the focused beam transmission; comparison of the specified first location information and the second location information; and authentication of electronic device, when the difference between the location of an electronic device and location of centre of projection of the focused beam transfer is less than the threshold value.
EFFECT: high level of electronic communication and safety networks from unauthorised access.
