FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to hydrometallurgy of precious metals, and can be used for extracting gold from refractory material. Method of extracting noble metals from refractory sulphide stock includes superthin milling, preliminary treatment of pulp at high temperature and sorption cyanidation. Preliminary treatment is carried out in two steps: first step is carried out in presence of oxygen at pH 2-3, second - in presence of oxygen and lime at pH 10.5-11.0. Concentrate is ground to size 95.0 % class minus 10 mcm and less. Preliminary treatment is performed so that degree of oxidation of sulphides is 35-55 %.
EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of conditions for preparing concentrate to cyaniding after ultrafine grinding.
