FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method relates to metallurgy of noble metals and can be used for extraction of gold from carbonaceous-sulphide raw material of double refractory. Method involves superfine grinding of raw material in a bead mill, oxidation of the ground product with oxygen at atmospheric pressure and cyanidation of the oxidised product in sorption mode. At the same time grinding is carried out using mercury, a reagent-suppressor of carbon, with its consumption of 35–45 g/t. Oxidation is carried out using alkalizing reagents at Ph = 6–7 and temperature of 85–95 °C to obtain an oxidised product with passivated carbon.
EFFECT: higher gold recovery.
