SUBSTANCE: proposed method of updating diaphragm flow meter comprises diaphragm fitting body with a channel and configured to accommodate diaphragm, plurality of outlet holes and multiple pressure sensors installed in said multiple outlet holes. Method further includes removal of diaphragm and plurality of pressure sensors from body of diaphragm fitting and installation of plurality of converters in said plurality of outlet holes. At least two of plurality of converters are made to generate a signal, and at least two of plurality of converters are made to receive a signal. Furthermore, method involves measurement of flow rate of fluid medium flowing through channel, based on output signal of each of plurality of converters.
EFFECT: possibility of improving existing diaphragm flow meters for use of new technologies.
