FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise suppression. Silencer comprises a cylindrical housing, inner pipe with perforation in form of longitudinal slots and blank end face, spiral element located between housing and pipe, and an end outlet branch pipe, wherein spiral element is movable and is equipped with adjustable support located on blind end of internal pipe, inner surface of housing and spiral element surface are lined with sound absorbing material made of mineral wool on basalt base of “Rockwool” type, or “URSA” mineral wool, basalt wool P-75, or glass wool with glass felt, wherein sound absorbing element over its entire surface is lined with acoustically transparent material.
EFFECT: high efficiency of noise suppression by acoustic adjustment.
