FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science and can be used for early diagnosis of bronchitis in calves. Conduct palpation of the last tracheal ring. Then perform a 30-second artificial delay of breathing (apnea). If after palpation of the last tracheal ring cough response was absent, and after apnea for 1-2 minutes there is a cough, diagnose early manifestation of bronchitis.
EFFECT: method allows non-invasive and easy to carry out early diagnosis of bronchitis in calves due to the sequence of performance of the last tracheal ring and apnea.
