METHOD OF EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF RESPIRATORY DISEASES IN CALVES Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G01N33/48 

FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises sampling of blood in calves. In the calves aged from 20 days to 8 months the level of urea erythrocyte hemolysis is determined before and after the introduction of modifiers of adrenaline and adrenergic blocker in blood samples. Then the coefficient of modification of membranes is calculated by formula KMA=E_aw/E_bl-as, where E_aw - extinction of the sample at a wavelength of 541 nm with adrenaline; E_bl-as - extinction of sample at a wavelength of 541 nm, on which the blocker was initially applied, and then - the active substance. At that KMA in healthy calves is within 0.98 to 1.2, and in the case of excess the level of 1.2 the initial stage of respiratory disease is diagnosed.

EFFECT: invention enables to diagnose quickly and accurately respiratory diseases in calves.
