FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing pneumatic tire with rigid core and pneumatic tire made using said method. Proposed method of its production, which involves formation of frame passing from the tread via side strip to each side, formation of breaker located radially outside the frame and at tread inner side, and formation of band arranged radially outside the breaker layer. Method involves making uncured tire by successive attachment of tire elements including uncured frame layer, breaker layer and layer of band on external surface of rigid core and curing raw tire by placing rigid core raw tire in vulcanization form. Formation of raw tire includes band layer produced by spiral winding of element made of band cord or a narrow band in the form of band made of band cord covered with coating rubber to rigid core through the breaker layer. At the stage of band forming the structural band element is spirally wound under heating up to temperature not less than 100 °C and stretching up to not less than 0.5 %.
EFFECT: higher tire life at high speeds.
