METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF PNEUMATIC TIRES Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: rubber-processing industry; production of pneumatic tires for automobiles. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of production of pneumatic tires for automobiles and may be used in production of buses, in particular in manufacture of pneumatic tires for buses and cars. The method provides for a step-by-step assembly of the tires containing an air-proof layer, at least one skeleton layer , tire beads, side strips, a breaker package in the form of the breaker layers and an integral or combined band, subtread rubber and a track. Winding of the extruded rubber tape is made in the form a spiral by several coils forming the side strips. The extrusion rubber band for the side strips of a tire is wound up on side strips of the skeleton provided with a breaker package in the form of the breaker layers, a band and subtread rubber during its preliminary formation. Winding of the side strips is exercised by laying side by side or at least partially overlapping each other coils. The invention provides for alternative version of the method realization. The invention allows to apply the rubber parts of the side strips on the outer radius of tires without their stretching, that excludes a possibility of formation of swellings in the side strips zone caused by overlaps. The method is cost-saving and may be used for all dimensional ranges of tires. EFFECT: the invention allows to apply the side strips rubber parts on the tires outer radius without their stretching, so precluding formation of swellings in the side strips and the method is cost-effective and applicable for all dimensions of tires. 13 cl, 7 dwg
