FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of converting olefin or alcohol and a method of producing propylene or an aromatic compound. Method of converting olefin or alcohol involves the stage of preliminary treatment, in which a conducting catalyst is obtained by loading a reactor with a fluidized bed with a non-conducting catalyst containing zeolite and/or silicon oxide and feeding a heated hydrocarbon gas into the reactor with the fluidized bed for deposition of carbonaceous coke and its application of the non-conducting catalyst, and the stage of conversion of olefin or alcohol with the help of a reaction in the fluidized bed using the said conducting catalyst, where the gas feeding rate makes 0.40 m/sec or less at the stage of preliminary treatment in the form of the gas flow rate in the fluidized bed reactor, and the gas feeding rate is 0.5 m/sec or more at the stage of conversion of olefin or alcohol in the form of the gas flow rate in the fluidized bed reactor.
EFFECT: invention provides suppression of electrostatic charging of the catalyst and high efficiency of the reaction.
