FIELD: data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of tidal charts making. Summary: tide height is determined according to wave harmonic component limited along the water area outline, specified by amplitude, angle of position and period. At that, water area point real plane coordinates are determined, directed to the East and North, respectively. Tidal height wave harmonic component values are determined at a fixed time through point projection on phase circle corresponding to given sea level height. At that, parameters of said height are determined based on water area inner points and its outline location. Besides, wave harmonic component oscillations amplitude is determined by tide wave height values in the points with real scheduled coordinates for serial set of time discrete values. Tide maximum time is determined by amplitude value. Observations ranks are formed by oscillation spectrum decomposition for non-overlapping intervals and original row decomposition into components for each frequency interval. Initial row decompositions are subjected to transformations using Meyer wavelet. Harmonic constants evaluation is performed for each separate aster. Additionally, harmonic constants stability estimate is performed by tidal oscillations zoning at specified water area of ocean based on harmonic parameters equality criterion. At that, said criterion is defined as phase difference between two tidal oscillations in two different points of the water area. Besides, tidal oscillations of non-periodic nature are determined. Besides, when constructing isolines proximity measure between two systems of isolines is determined by constructing Hausdorff metric, tide time and spatial age variability between isolines amphidromic points is determined.

EFFECT: higher reliability when making tidal charts.
