FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a control device foe laser thermal strengthening process. Control is provided with further parameters correction of a reinforced part layer in real time to increase processing quality. Device has a double-circuit control system: temperature stabilization circuit on processing object surface and a reinforced layer parameters correction circuit. Device comprises a controller for setting parameters of the reinforced layer, a controller for forming processing parameters, forming control signals for radiation source power control and controllers of the rate of drives of beam guide movable links movement, beam guide heats the treated surface by laser beam, a temperature sensor connected to the functional converter FC1 forming correcting signals at rate controllers. Intelligent reinforced layer parameters identifier forms correcting signals for reinforced layer parameters controller by means of functional converter FC3 based on data, obtained from the controller for forming processing parameters, from the temperature sensor through a function converter FC2 and from the heating model unit.

EFFECT: heating model is generated based on data received from the temperature sensor and controller for forming processing parameters.
