FIELD: foundry production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry production. The method for casting aluminum alloys under pressure conditions prior to crystallization includes pouring liquid metal superheated 150-200°C above the liquidus into a filling bowl (5) with a stopper (6), pouring liquid metal into a mold heated to 200°C and vacuumed to 0.1-0.2 atm and applying pressure on the liquid metal from 0 to 500 MPa by press plungers (1, 8) moving towards each other. The pressure is applied according to a preset mode, and the pressure in the hydraulic system of the press plungers is regulated by a frequency converter, the settings of which provide a pressure application rate from 10 MPa/s to 125 MPa/s at intervals of 0.01 s. The initial data on the dependence of the change in the applied pressure over time is entered into the hydraulic system control program of the press plungers. During crimping, the pressure is maintained with an accuracy of ±10 MPa, and the actual pressure is recorded by a sensor, compared with the set pressure, and when the deviation of the actual pressure of 10 MPa is reached, a command is given to the frequency converter to reduce or increase the pressure to the set one.
EFFECT: formation of physical and mechanical properties of aluminum alloys is controlled.
