FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wire, satellite and ground radio communication and can be used for receiving and digital recovery of transmitted information from orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) channel signals. Method of recovering transmitted information from a received signal, involves receiving a signal through a receiving antenna and transmission thereof to a quadrature demodulator, digitising signal by means of analogue-to-digital converter, parallel-serial conversion to form digital stream, wherein method includes generating and storing a subband orthogonal base , consisting of J calculated and selected, according to number of used data channels in allocated frequency band, eigen vectors subband matrix , i,k = 1, …, N; removing protective interval, if any is present; for recovery of transmitted information from received signals at receiving side, scalar product is taken of vector of digitised received signal with each eigen vector of subband matrix from stored said subband orthogonal base Q.

EFFECT: technical result is providing reliable recovery of transmitted information from received signals at receiving side.
