FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of high-molecular compounds, in particular, to a method of producing polysulphide polymers, which can be used as a polymer base for sealing compositions, used in aircraft engineering, ship building, instrument making, radio electronics, in construction for production of glass units, etc. Method of producing polysulphide polymer involves polycondensation of chlorinated derivatives of a mixture of formals with quantitative content of 1,2,3-trichloropropane of 2.8-3.0 % with sodium tetrasulphide in presence of a dispersant. Mixture of formals used is a mixture of di-(β-chloroethyl)formal, di-(β-chlorodioxyethylene) methane, di-(β-chlorotrioxyethylene)methane. Further, method includes desulphation of dispersion with a solution of caustic soda. Then dispersion of high-molecular polysulphide polymer is washed with water and split with sodium hydrosulphide in presence of sodium sulphite. Split dispersion is subjected to coagulation. Obtained coagulum is subjected to washing and drying.
EFFECT: invention enables to produce a polymer without using a solvent, higher elongation while maintaining high values of hardness of polymer.
