FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed are versions of a polysulphide polymer: obtained by polycondensation of di- and polyhalides with sodium polysulphide in the presence of a dispersant, followed by washing, splitting and coagulation of the split dispersion with an acid reagent; and obtained by reacting di- and polyhalides with sodium hydrosulphide and sulphur in the presence of quaternary ammonium halides, wherein in both versions, the diahalide used is a mixture of chlorine-containing monomers: 2,2'-dichlorodiethyl formal in combination with 1,2-dichloroethane and epichlorohydrin or 2,2'-dichlorodiethyl formal in combination with chlorinated paraffin wax of formula CnH2n-mClm, where: n=10-20, m=2-6. Further, the polymer is washed with water and dried in a vacuum.
EFFECT: low cost of the polysulphide polymer and reduced amount of wastes per unit product, while preserving physical and mechanical properties of vulcanisates of polysulphide polymers.
