FIELD: electric machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, particularly, to electrical machines of considerable power, and can be used for current collection with help of groups of parallel-connected electric brushes. Brush-contact unit of electrical machine comprises a brush holder with an electric brush, which can move along axis of brush holder, pneumatic cylinder, changing pressing force on brush, a displacement sensor and a pressure sensor connected to a throttling device, controlled remotely, a current meter, installed on terminal of bus of electric machine, and a temperature sensor installed in working zone of brush, wherein pressure sensor is arranged between throttling device and pneumatic cylinder.
EFFECT: high reliability of brush contact unit.
