FIELD: metalworking.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metalworking under pressure. Four-die press tool (1) includes lower die assembly (4) and upper die assembly (6) displaceable relative thereto. spaced apart and supported on die assembly parts four rams are mounted (10, 11, 12, 13) to hold dies (29). For holding parts (10, 11, 12, 13) concentrically to central press axis (28) with their displacement relative to said axis (28) ring-holder (20) is mounted. On ring-holder (20) protective means (35) are mounted to center workpiece relative to central press axis (28) independently of manipulator for installing workpiece in four-die press die.
EFFECT: higher reliability of press die due to impossible ingress workpiece into working area and, consequently, die damage.
