FIELD: nuclear engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heavy liquid metal coolant fast neutron nuclear reactors. Side reflector unit is made from steel grade 16H12MVSFBR-SH and is equipped with internal flow space, output of which is located in upper end of unit. Cavity occupies from 0.85 to 0.9 of cross section of unit and is two-way with height of sash section of 0.45-0.65 of height of lifting section.
EFFECT: temperature of structural elements of unit is in range of less radiation damage thereof, with reduction of hydraulic losses in unit.
