FIELD: ballistics.
SUBSTANCE: method of determining ballistic coefficient of an object based on results of trajectory measurements of parameters of its movement at the atmospheric section of passive flight. It is used for determining values of ballistic coefficients of objects of different aerodynamic shapes, that can be claimed in space engineering and other industries studying motion of objects in gaseous media.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of determining ballistic coefficient of an object based on results of trajectory measurements at the atmospheric section of its passive flight.
