FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining and can be used for treatment and dressing of iron-ore raw material that makes better ferromagnetic properties. Device includes a sensor for monitoring density with a measuring inductance coil and a computer module. Density monitoring sensor contains a microcontroller having a digital-to-analogue converter and an analogue-to-digital converter. Digital-to-analogue converter is configured to generate a signal and is connected to the input of a low-pass filter unit. Low-pass filter unit output is connected to a measuring bridge, which includes a measuring inductance coil made with the possibility of interaction with ferromagnetic particles of a suspension. Outputs of the measuring bridge and the measuring inductance coil are connected with a differential amplifier, the output of which is connected to the input of the analogue-to-digital converter of the microcontroller. Microcontroller is connected by a direct feedback with an interface converter input, the output of which is connected by a direct feedback with similar interface converter of the computer module. Interface converter of the computer module is connected by a direct feedback with a galvanic isolation unit, which is connected by a direct feedback to a microcontroller of the computer module. Microcontroller of the computer module is connected by a direct feedback to the device interface and is connected by a direct feedback to a universal interface converter connected by a direct feedback with an automated process control system. Sensor and the computer module are equipped with power supply sources ensuring operation of the devices units during operation.

EFFECT: technical result is providing efficient control during dynamic change of density of the ferromagnetic suspension with the possibility to use the device in automated process control systems and providing calibration taking into account the type of the process equipment on site in real time.
