FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the digital instruments for measuring electrical energy in alternating current networks of industrial frequency at voltages from 6 to 35 kV. The technical result is the ability to monitor the metrological characteristics of a device without turning off the device and using external measuring instruments and generators of influences. The result is achieved by the fact that the proposed direct-connection high-voltage electric energy meter, unlike the prototype, additionally contains a circuit for monitoring the current through the power take-off capacitor, which includes a measuring resistor, two comparators and a timer for determining the pause duration of the power take-off current, and a circuit for setting the test signal of the current meter, which includes an additional winding on the current sensor and a current test signal generator.

EFFECT: ability to monitor the metrological characteristics of a device without turning off the device and using external measuring instruments and generators of influences.
