Base station count request received from MCE, includes time update and identifiers for one or more services (402, 502) MBMS. Base station includes update time with its intercommunicated count results (410). MCE uses update time in order to identify transmitted calculation request (506) and ignores data for services, not identified in request (516). When base station does not recieve MBMS counting results of supported by UE for one or more identified services in certain message window (406), base station transmits empty list of services identifiers to MCE (408). In this way, MCE determines that base station has not received MBMS counting results for one or more of identified services yet, based on receiving empty list (508, 510).
EFFECT: more efficient use of resources of communication system by counting user devices to take one or more service.
