SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mobile communication. Proposed is a method/device of reporting on the efficiency of decoding in a mobile communication network including: receiving an indication of availability of a report on the efficiency of decoding containing information on the results of one or more attempts to decode in the communication device one or more transmissions, by means of which provided is the service of multicast/broadcast transmission of multimedia information, and sending a request, which causes transmission by the communication device of the report on the decoding efficiency.
EFFECT: technical result is enabling estimation of efficiency of the service provided by a radio access network not basing on the feedback used for retransmission mechanisms.
