FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. Surgical suture for cosmetic operations is made from metal or biological material, has inclined studs series-arranged along its length and directed opposite to the suture pulling. Studs are made as cone-shaped barbs with sharpened flexible-elastic ends. Herewith part of the barbs, at least three of them, at the end of the suture are directed opposite to the first ones to prevent the suture slippage in the tissue.
EFFECT: using the given invention will allow to ensure fixation of the suture ends in closing wounds by subcuticular and intradermic sutures without additional operations and facilities, as well as will enable qualitative wounds closing with reduced length of the scar.
