SURGICAL SUTURE AND METHOD OF COSMETIC OPERATION PERFORMANCE Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A61B17/06 A61L17/04 A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2325859 C2

FIELD: medicine; plastic surgery.

SUBSTANCE: invention used at cosmetic operations performance. The surgical suture is executed from a metal, polymeric or biological material. The suture has elements of bracing of hypodermic tissues. The suture has the helicoid form. The suture is executed in the form of a compression or stretching spring. Diameter of a spiral makes 0.5 mm to 5 mm. Diameter of a suture makes 0.1 mm to 1 mm. A helicoid form suture in the form of a compression or stretching spring is fixed by the forward end to the pointed end of an aspirating needle. The suture is densely coiled on a needle or is fixed in an aspirating needle gap. A needle and a suture are entered into a hypodermic fat along the selected contour. If there is a stretching spring a needle with a suture are entered in the stretched condition. If there is a compression spring a needle with a suture are entered in the compressed condition. A suture is leaved subcutaneously in a strained state with aspiration to be constricted or be stretched under the influence of spring properties. Thus the suture, according to a condition compresses a subcutaneously-fatty fat with creation of effect of a tightening of ptotic tissues. At putting a needle in it is rotated on a course of coiling of suture coils. At putting a needle out it is rotated in an opposite direction. In that specific case a suture is fixed in a gap of an aspirating needle with a backlash between diameter of a spiral and an internal wall of a needle from 0.2 to 2 mm. Two sutures are put in parallel in that specific case. Sutures ends are pulled towards each other and among themselves. Sutures ends are put under the skin and the uniform structure tightening of ptotic tissues is created. The offered method and device allow out-patient under local anaesthesia to carry out minimally invasive, simple, bloodless interventions without formation of cicatrixes with the short rehabilitation period. Thus operation can be applied as separately, and in a combination with other surgical interventions at cosmetic operations. The method and the suture allow to tight in regular intervals of soft tissues upwards, to receive proof effect of sentinel piles and rhytides effacement, effect of a rejuvenation of the growing old face, remaining at mimic movements, at face skin massage, at nutrition chewing process.

EFFECT: reception of proof effect of sentinel piles and rhytides effacement at mimic movement preservation.
