SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive processing and can be used in grinding shaft-like parts. Method is carried out on the same grinding machine by grinding parts with at least one cylindrical and profiled sections. First, the part is ground at the first grinding operation using the first clamp followed by the second grinding operation. After the first operation, the first clamp is loosened, and then the second clamp is created before the beginning of the second grinding operation.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of making shaft-like parts with cylindrical and profiled sections.
