FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for controlling electric motor of air conditioner. Device for detection of angular position of angular position can be detected with high accuracy even in cases when there is a displacement. Electric motor (2) has: magnetic inductor (22) having a permanent magnet; and anchor (21) with three or more phases of coils (21u, 21v, 21w) inductance. Magnetic inductor (22) and armature (21) rotate relative to each other. Detector (431) determines if there is equality between: first linear induced voltage (Vun), which is a difference of potentials between first phase potential and reference potential, wherein reference potential represents either a minimum phase, or maximum phase, from phase potentials generated by armature as a result of induced electromotive force; and second linear induced voltage (Vvn), which is a difference of potentials between second phase potential and reference potential, wherein second phase potential is phase potential, different from first phase potential. Unit (432) for establishing angular position establishes design value of angular position of electric motor (2) equal to preset value at moment of time, in which there is equality between first linear induced voltage (Vun) and second linear induced voltage (Vvn).

EFFECT: high accuracy of detection of synchronous motor rotor angular position.
