FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely, to motor vehicles leaf springs. Spring from composite materials comprises unit of sheets with successively increasing length and protruding in both sides from inner bearing part. Unit is made in form of variable thickness continuous beam, distributed relative to variable radius middle cylindrical surface and decreasing from supporting to end parts. Reinforcing material made in form of two groups of interdependent threads oriented at angle of 90 degrees to each other, distributed in layers equidistant to spring side surface. One group of all layers threads is located in support part central cross-section parallel to middle surface with gradual turn from it as they approach end parts, where both groups of threads are directed to middle surface at sharp angles.

EFFECT: higher service life of spring with simultaneous reduction of weight and manufacturing labor input.
