FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. Method involves growing of plants in greenhouses, using light water for watering, this room ventilation with water extraction from air, repeated usage of it for growing of plants. Wherein before planting seeds are soaked in light water with deuterium concentration of no more than 136 ppm, and water after soaking process is used again, returning it to cycle of watering. During growing plants are watered with water with deuterium concentration of no more than 136 ppm, and concentration of deuterium in watering during ageing is successively lowered depending on vegetation stage to 50 ppm at final stage.

EFFECT: method reduces cost of food crops with reduced deuterium content without deterioration of their high quality.
