FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, namely, to producing permanent magnets of magnetically hard materials based on compounds of rare-earth metals and can be used in electrical engineering, automobile industry, instrument-making and other industries. In the disclosed method of producing permanent magnets on the basis of rare-earth metals alloys with iron and nitrogen containing producing magnetic material powder, mixing it with zinc powder, compaction and magnetization, according to the proposed invention, the compaction of powder mix of magnetic material and zinc is performed by means of cold gas-dynamic sputtering in a jet of nitrogen, heated to temperature of 170 °C to 240 °C, at pressure of 4 atm to 7 atm. Zinc powder is mixed with the magnetic material powder at a ratio of 3 % to 12 wt%.of zinc.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is higher residual inductance Br and maximum energy product (VN) max of the obtained magnetic material.
